FIREFIGHTERS' ANTHEM was inspired by Brandon Alexander Campbell, who held honorable positions both as a firefighter in Desoto County, Florida and a medic at West Palm Beach hospital.
He also held a reserve position with Palm Beach County Fire Volunteers.
In October of 2016, Michelle Campagnola-Polcyn received an email from one of her coworkers informing her that their former boss Chris and his wife Brenda had tragically lost their son, Brandon, in a car accident.
Michelle and her husband attended the funeral service and after they had gotten home, she unexpectedly became inspired to write a song.
At first, the song was about Brandon, however, it very quickly expanded to become a Firefighters' Anthem.
Even still, many of the lyrics of the song were inspired by stories shared at Brandon's eulogy, like a hunting trip shared by Chris where Brandon "gave everything he had" and unloaded his gun when he only needed to shoot once.
Firefighters "Live and Give Their Lives With All They Got."
This song is dedicated to Brandon Alexander Campbell (May 12, 1992-October 1, 2016) and to his family, coworkers, friends, and loved ones who miss him every day.
The purpose of this song is to honor Firefighters located around the world, both living and fallen, and pay tribute to their bravery, dedication, and sacrifice.
